Story Behind Heavenly Manna Devotional
When was the last time you were hungry? Right now, about 1 out of 9, people on the planet are malnourished or starving. Even more people are experiencing famine—for GOD’S Word (Amos 8:11).
What child of GOD doesn’t crave daily spiritual food? YAHUVEH GOD HIMSELF has said it and YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH has confirmed,
“It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD” (Deut 8:3; Mt 4:4).
In order to draw closer to YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (Hebrew for Jesus Christ) I started memorizing Bible verses. It wasn’t until late 2005 and early 2006 that I really began taking my walk with the LORD seriously. I re-dedicated my life to HIM and from that point forward, I was truly changed! That story will be for another time!
YAHUVEH GOD had led me to Amightywind Ministry in either 2004 or 2005. It wasn’t until 2007 that I became more involved. As I began reading the Holy Prophecies given to my Pastor, Apostle Elisabeth Sherrie Elijah, I noticed that they lined up perfectly with the Holy Scriptures and so began memorizing them as well.
FATHER YAHUVEH GOD says to stand on HIS Word and have faith HE will perform it. So, I put faith in action. I cling to HIS Promises. They really encourage me and help me to overcome the flesh, the world, and the devil.
So, I decided to share YAH’S Promises in emails with those HE had me ministering to with the hopes that it would strengthen them as well. As time went by, I was led to type up prayers to go along with the Bible verses and Prophecy excerpts. In these prayers, I express my love and gratitude to ABBA YAHUVEH, YAHUSHUA my MASHIACH, and the RUAH HA KODESH (HOLY SPIRIT) as well as the earnest desires of my spirit for holiness.
As I wrote these devotionals, sometimes I also began to hear Words from YAH in the SPIRIT. We’re not saying these are as a “Thus saith the LORD” on the level of the Bible or Words given to Prophet Elisabeth, but the AmightyWind Ministry Team knows these are inspired nonetheless and line up with the Bible and Holy Character of YAH. One day Apostle Elisabeth received a Prophetic Word from the LORD YAHUSHUA that these emails were to be called “Daily Manna From Heaven.”
The Daily Manna or Heavenly Manna prayers that I am going to share with you all are those based on the Holy Prophecy excerpts I memorized and beyond. Possibly in the future I will share those based on the Scriptures.
Remember the Scripture I quoted earlier? Do you know the original context of Deuteronomy 8? Here is a clue — it had to do with the time of Moses and Manna (that literally came down from Heaven). YAHUVEH fed the Israelites as they journeyed through the desert:
HE humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with Manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that HE might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of YAHUVEH (Deuteronomy 8:3, NKJV)
For the Daily Manna From Heaven Devotional, I give ALL PRAISE, HONOR, and GLORY to YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH! I am nothing but the broken vessel of clay upon which HE has poured forth HIS RUACH HA KODESH.
ABBA YAHUVEH please bless the reading of YOUR Daily Manna from Heaven and bless all those that receive this as a blessing. In YAHUSHUA my MASHIACH’S NAME, AMEN!!!

Deuteronomy 8
1 Be careful to follow every command I am giving you today, so that you may live and increase and may enter and possess the land YAHUVEH promised on oath to your ancestors.
2 Remember how the LORD your GOD led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep HIS commands.
3 HE humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
4 Your clothes did not wear out and your feet did not swell during these forty years.
5 Know then in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so the LORD your GOD disciplines you.
6 Observe the commands of YAHUVEH your GOD, walking in obedience to HIM and revering HIM.
7 For the LORD your GOD is bringing you into a good land, a land with brooks, streams, and deep springs gushing out into the valleys and hills;
8 a land with wheat and barley, vines and fig trees, pomegranates, olive oil and honey;
9 a land where bread will not be scarce and you will lack nothing; a land where the rocks are iron and you can dig copper out of the hills.
10 When you have eaten and are satisfied, praise the LORD your GOD for the good land HE has given you.
11 Be careful that you do not forget the YAHUVEH your GOD, failing to observe HIS commands, HIS laws and HIS decrees that I am giving you this day.
12 Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,
13 and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied,
14 then your heart will become proud and you will forget the YAHUVEH your GOD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
15 HE led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. HE brought you water out of hard rock.
16 HE gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you.
17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.”
18 But remember YAHUVEH your GOD, for it is HE who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms HIS covenant, which HE swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
19 If you ever forget YAHUVEH your GOD and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.
20 Like the nations YAHUVEH destroyed before you, so you will be destroyed for not obeying YAHUVEH your GOD.
