Most Pentecostal circles teach that we should put on Ephesians Six Armor daily. Well our Pastor Elisabeth, who is also an apostle & prophet, has learned from Heaven, that we put on our armor and then we “don’t take it off!” We don’t put it on daily simply because, “IT NEVER COMES OFF!” It’s already on! (That is, once you put it on in the first place.)
You only need to put something back on if you’ve taken it off, right? Exactly. More on that after the poem…
I’m not talented when it comes to memorizing anything. And I admit I’d never memorized the Ephesians 6 Armor verses properly, so a few months ago in an attempt to make it easier for myself I wrote this poem. More like adapted it, since I based it on the passage from Scripture as much as I was able.
Maybe it’ll help you or if you have kids, you can turn it into a fun activity for them if you combine it with motions.
Strong in the LORD, in the power of HIS Might,
we’re wearing YAH’S full armor—standing firm
against the devil’s fight—
Belt of Truth ‘round our waist!
Breastplate of Righteousness in place!
Our feet fit with shoes, the gospel of peace!
And above all, before our face
the Shield of Faith—
to quench each
fiery dart of the wicked…
With the Helmet of SALVATION upon our heads,
and in our mouths, the SPIRIT’S SWORD
(that is GOD’S WORD)
we shall not faint
—as we watch with perseverance—
always praying, for all the saints
….in YAHUSHUA’S Name!
Although our armor is to never come off—some people still like to “put on their armor daily” in prayer, if for no other reason, then to remind themselves that we are in a war against the devil and his schemes and we must keep wearing our armor on day by day by living a Holy lifestyle etc. We don’t just put on the armor and forget about it.
We put it on with our words and prayers then we also put effort into keeping it on. We back up our faith with our daily actions, prayers and obedience! It’s not just a mystical invisible armor, but also the actions of our lives (James 2:14-26)!
So I wrote/adapted this this in such a way that it can be said daily during prayer time. I never intended to share this, but today I feel led by YAH to share it with all my wonderful brothers and sisters. So that’s that…

PS fun trivia fact – did you know both GOD THE FATHER, YAHUVEH (i.e. YAHWEH) & GOD THE SON YAHUSHUA HA MASHIACH (Hebrew for JESUS CHRIST) also wear this armor (Isaiah 59:16-19; Rev 19:11-16)? Yeah, that’s why it’s called GOD’S Armor after all!
