Calling a Fast! Asarah Tevet 2015 (falls on Winter Solstice)

The LORD GOD ALMIGHTY is calling a fast! For those who are healthy and fully able! Partake with us of a fast starting during December 21st in your time zone (see times at the end of this post). Stand united in agreement against the plans of the enemy during winter solstice!

Tevet is a name used for the 10th month of the Biblical calendar. This year 2015, Asarah B’Tevet (the 10th day of Tevet) happens to fall out on Winter Solstice, which is the darkest time of year when the day is shortest and the night longest.

Pagans regard winter solstice as one of the most important and one of the high (un)holy days for occultists. It goes without saying that very evil rituals and practices are often done in secret—and we stand against this in prayer. We have the Victory in YAHUSHUA’S Name!

You are invited to fast with us if you are in need of deliverance from the hand of the devil, or in need of miracles and you submit yourself to YAHUSHUA and resist the devil. Then he flees! Write in the guest book so we can lift your needs up. If not, please leave a comment below!

Should you Fast?

• Do NOT fast if your health is not able to handle it! But you still may partake by fasting time in prayer intercession.
• If you fast, only fast as much as your health allows i.e. a partial fast if necessary—only fasting certain foods but still eating what is necessary.
• If you are underweight, pregnant, nursing or feel dizzy etc. while fasting, that means you are NOT being led by the RUACH HA KODESH to fast! So don’t!

What Does YAH expect?

Remember you must submit yourself. That means ask forgiveness from your sins, and obey ABBA YAHUVEH & YAHUSHUA.

Only then, do you have authority to say, “satan I rebuke you and I command you to flee. I stand in the full armor of Ephesian 6. My sins are washed away with the shed blood of YAHUSHUA. I gave my mind, body, spirit and soul to YAHUSHUA—satan you have no claim on me, no disease, sickness neither unemployment, etc. so in YAHUSHUA’S name I render all your satanic crafts, witchcraft, voodoo, Chinese sorcery, shamanism, curses, spells, rituals and weapons formed against us null, void and powerless. It cannot harm us. The evil that is sent, YAH says will only return back!”

Jericho March

Those who are able to begin a personal Jericho March beginning around this time, please do. The AmightyWind Ministry Team is doing one. Whenever you start, we stand in agreement with all your needs!

Prayer Points

For those unable to fast food, still stand on YAH’S promises and in agreement that:

1. All prayer needs, as they line up with YAH’S will, of the AmightyWind congregation will be met, exceedingly and abundantly more than we can dare dream or ask; and
2. Everything hindering the calling of AmightyWind Ministries and especially its leadership in any way be utterly removed!

These are our prayer points. YAHUVEH, YAHUSHUA & RUACH HA KODESH know what we all need!

Asarah B’Tevet 2015

In the northern half of the planet, winter solstice usually falls on December 21st but this year, December 22nd 2015, which also happens to be Asarah B’Tevet 2015—sundown December 21st-sundown December 22nd. (Locations at least five hours behind UTC, will have their solstice on December 21, due to the difference in zones.)

On Asarah B’Tevet 2,500 years ago, Nebuchadnezzar II the Babylonian king began his siege of Jerusalem, when the walls were breached (2 Kgs 25:1; Ezek 24:1-2). This is also a day for repentance and a time to remember victims of the Holocaust! (Twenty months later on Tish’a Be’Av (the 9th of Av), the First Temple was destroyed and it also became a date marking many other disasters.)

Hence these have become traditional fast days that in the future, however, will become days of feasting and rejoicing (Zech 8:19). While we do not usually call for a fast on all these days, we see the need for it on this Asarah B’Tevet.

May YAHUVEH perform miracles, and turn these days of fasting into days of feasting and celebration in our days! Please fast as you are able to stand in agreement with our prayers that everything hindering AmightyWind Ministry and especially its leadership from fulfilling all its been called to do, be removed!

2015 Dates & Timing

The astronomical solstice actually happens at a specific point in time—the winter solstice, when the sun’s high point is at it’s lowest for the year. In the UTC time zone in 2015, this will be at 4:48 AM near dawn, early on the 22nd.

The Fast of Asarah B’Tevet usually begins in the morning. However if the UTC winter solstice comes at evening in your time zone, begin your fast the evening before. If in the morning or late night, then begin the morning before. If that’s confusing, don’t worry. Just see the advise listed below.

Here are the times for the point of the solstice 4:49 AM UTC in international time zones with a suggested time to begin your fast—about 24 hours before the point of solstice:

Russia – Moscow Tue 7:49 AM i.e. start fast after breakfast on Monday
Israel – Jerusalem Tue 6:49 AM i.e. start fast after breakfast on Monday
United Kingdom – England – London Tue 4:49 AM i.e. start fast after an early breakfast on Monday

U.S.A. – New York – New York Mon 11:49 PM i.e. start fast after dinner on Sunday
Mexico – Federal District – Mexico City Mon 10:49 PM i.e. start fast after dinner on Sunday

Our fast will end any time after the solstice point occurs or some will continue as led and break the fast at nightfall or dinnertime on the 22nd in your time zone.
